In the future we would like Sports Impact to reach more sports than just the FIFA World Cup and Olympic Games. In days ahead we will post any details on follow up events on this web site as well. To this point we have no other outreach. Our ideas include the Olympics, Rugby World Cup, Cricket World Cup, and even the Commonwealth Games.

Our history of follow up
Olympic outreach has always been coordinated with RBP or AIG and as such the follow-up has been left in their capable hands as they have more resources than Sports Impact. This will again be done for the London Olympic games.
While we had people present at the FIFA World Cup in Korea and Germany, we were not in control of the follow up of all the new converts. We have decided that this must change. The only way for this to change is for us to control the tracts we use. As of the South Africa World Cup we produced our own tracts. This allowed us to get the follow-up responses and allowed us to help people who made decisions into a good local church in their area.

Whenever possible we will do our own follow up. This will be done by the person who did the follow up for the Sydney 2000 Olympic games. In that case we had over 286 new believers respond and get placed into a local church in around 17 different countries. At present we have the ability to work in the following languages:
